About Reading Design Studio
Designing Beautiful Spaces, Made for Living
At Reading Design Studio, ‘’Designing Beautiful Spaces’’ is more than a motto — it’s the thinking behind everything we create.
To us, beauty is found in more than how a space looks. It’s in the way light enters a room, how effortlessly one area flows into another, and how every material, proportion and detail feels considered.
We bring architectural design, interior design and project expertise together to create spaces that are thoughtful, functional and distinctly personal — shaped around the people who will experience them.
From the first idea to the final detail, we consider the whole space, balancing creativity with practicality to create places that look beautiful, feel beautiful and live beautifully.
OUR STORY
Seeing the Possibility in Every Space
Founded in 2020, Reading Design Studio began with a simple idea: to see beyond what a space is, and imagine what it could become.
Sometimes that means rethinking a layout. Drawing more natural light into a room. Giving an overlooked corner a new purpose. Bringing architecture and interiors together. Or completely transforming the way a property is experienced.
Today, we bring that approach to residential, HMO and property transformation projects across Reading and beyond.
Every project starts by listening — understanding the property, the people behind it and their vision for the space. From there, we bring together creative thinking, architectural detail and practical expertise to shape that vision into something real.
That is what Designing Beautiful Spaces means to us — creating spaces with purpose, character and a sense of belonging.
Director, Architectural & Interior Design Lead
BIANCA BURETEA
Designing with an eye for beauty — and a deep understanding of how spaces are actually built.
Bianca brings together architectural training, interior design expertise and over ten years of hands‑on UK construction experience. As Director and Design Lead at Reading Design Studio, she works across both the creative and practical sides of a project — making sure ideas not only look great on paper, but also stand up on site.
With a Master’s degree in Architecture and a further specialisation in Interior Design, her work spans residential, commercial and heritage projects across London, Oxford and the Thames Valley. Alongside her design background, Bianca has extensive experience in contract administration, project management and projects delivery — working closely with architects, engineers, local authorities and contractors to deliver complex projects with clarity and precision.
At Reading Design Studio, Bianca leads the architectural and interior design direction: understanding how a space needs to function, developing layouts that make sense, and shaping the materials and details that give each project its character
Her approach is grounded in how people actually use a space — how it flows, how it feels and how it works day to day. Every decision is practical first, then refined, so the final result feels considered without being over‑designed.
For Bianca, Designing Beautiful Spaces means finding the balance between imagination and function — creating spaces that are considered in every detail, yet feel effortless to live in.

OUR CORE VALUES
The RDS Way
Three principles at the heart of how we think, design and bring spaces to life.
01
R — REVEAL
See the Possibility Within Every Space
We start by uncovering what’s already there — the potential, the opportunities, and the elements that can be brought forward. It’s about looking past what exists today to reveal what the space could become.
02
D — DESIGN
Beauty With Purpose
Every line, layout, material and detail is intentional. We design spaces that balance character with practicality — thoughtful, functional and well‑considered from the first sketch to the final detail.
03
S — SHAPE
Bring the Vision to Life
Ideas turn into real spaces. We coordinate the details, materials and technical delivery to shape an environment that can be lived in, experienced and enjoyed every day.
